Chris Gieger started his career in 1991 at Grey Advertising in New York City and later moved on to become the Creative Director at smaller Web and Multimedia design shops. While working at these firms he created award-winning Websites, interactive CD-ROMs, advertising, corporate identities and collateral for clients such as: ADP, AT&T, AT&T Solutions, The BOC Group, Engelhard, Franklin Electronics, Lucent Technologies, Nabisco, Panasonic, Roche Diagnostics, Sharp, Sony and Toshiba.

In 1999, Chris became the Director of Creative Services and User Interface Design at ICM/G.Traid (which was acquired by Computer Horizons Corp) in Mountain Lakes, NJ. Chris was hired to build and manage the company’s design practice and later developed the company’s proprietary User-Centered Design Methodology. Computer Horizons was eventually acquired by TEKsystems, the largest IT Consulting firm in the U.S.

In 2006, Chris left TEKsystems to form his own design firm (GIEGER Visual Communications) as a means to focus his efforts on helping companies clearly express their ideas and make their products easy to use. During this time, Chris was also busy helping to create an Internet start-up called BuzzHub – a local business search and reputation management website.

In December of 2008, Chris reunited with some of his former G.Triad colleagues at a software consulting firm they formed called Fusionapps. Chris was brought on board as the Director of Creative Operations to help build a design practice and reposition the company as a leader in building and managing software-based business solutions.

Chris continues to maintain GIEGER Visual Communications as a blog focused on sharing knowledge and providing inspiration for creative professionals.

GIEGER Visual Communications is a knowledge sharing and inspirational site for creative professionals.
